He took his vorpal sword in hand
Long time the manxome foe he sought
So rested he by the Tumtum tree
And stood awhile in thought

Combine my pedantic taste for minimalism with nerdy touchtyping abilities and a cheap can of white spraypaint, and you end up with my keyboard — possibly the most pretentious keyboard in existence.

I do not understand.
You are a n00b. It says what to do in the photo. Just concentrate on said dot, wait for the colour change and don’t blink until a few seconds after it happens.
HOLY SHIT

gratefulness: day 32
cool. thanks! that sure is a pink ring. a friend of mine is obsessed with purple… i found her a company that alloys gold, rhodium and aluminium which makes a purple compound.. now she just needs to find a boy( or girl… never know with her) and she can have a purple one. oh. btw… jeans are made for wiping your rib juices covered hands… otherwise they wouldn’t have called them serviette jeans wear would they?hey-oh hi-oh! what’s going down, peeps? i’m doin’ just fine over here. how about a list of all the things that made me sigh with delight today? yes? YESSS!
- no school no school no school for smart people! twice a year, the top 3 students in each grade at my school go on a trip. during school. (they figure that we’re intelligent enough to catch up) today was one of those days. yeeeeah - it was pretty awesome! i’ma list the things i was particularly grateful for separately though, since the trip basically took up my whole day. (and therefore included most of the things i am thankful for.)
- hanging out with Alexia and Mia. because they are aaaawesome, yo!
- exploring ships at the “Port Natal Maritime Museum”. we discovered a few bathrooms, some bunkers, a couple offices, and all of the machinery, along with a random “Pirates Room” that looked severely unloved. it was fun… heh.
- Mrs S’s inability to get Mia’s full name - Miandra - right. today, she was called Miranda, Mirinda and Mirianda, among other things. (i decided to call her Marimba… but that was short-lived)
- chocolate milkshake for tea. ooh aah :)
- eating pizza for lunch! and creating a new phenomenon - rib-flavoured jeans. only Hannah could do such a thing… *bows*
- buying a ridiculous amount of sweets at Sweets From Heaven. i personally blame Alexia for this… ;) nevertheless, despite their expensiveness and the belly ache that ensued, it was fun to chow sweets upon sweets upon sweets. mmmm.
- penguins! HELLO! only the cutest things in the world!! i wanted to hug them… but couldn’t. because they were on the other side of an enclosure… doh. still… i wanted to hug them.
- HAPPY WORS! this will always make me laugh. let me explain. we went to uShaka Marine World as part of the trip, and we had a guide. English was not her first language, so although she had a fairly good command of it, her pronunciation was shot. at one stage, she was speaking about the eating habits of different fish. i was only listening with half a mind, since the fish were so shiny (my brain automatically shuts down when it sees anything shiny) and so all i heard was, “happy wors!”. my brain process followed a pattern of, “WHAT???! they feed the fish HAPPY WORS?! as opposed to what, sad wors? angry wors?” needless to say, i was befuddled. until i heard her say in her next sentence, “carni-wors”. turns out she was talking about HERBIVORES and CARNIVORES. oops, Hannah… oops.
- the dolphin show! despite the corniness of the talking Shaka face… heh. the dolphins were still amazing! and Froggy made me laugh. (that is Alexia’s future vocation… just sayin’.)
- an amazing iPod soundtrack and Tetris/other-game demos on my phone as entertainment on the way home.
- these adorable cupcakes. and speaking of engagements…
- the fact that Andrea and Keaton are engaged makes me happier by the minute.
here they are with the ring… and Keaton’s engagement candy. love it.

and a close-up of the ring, because i promised Ricky a photo :)

yay! with that… i am heading to the bed.
NIGHT!
